About Lynn Hartline
Lynn was born in Dothan, Alabama, and raised in Geneva, Alabama. Her music background
comes from her family tree. Lynn's grandfather Papa Moore along with his brothers
and sisters formed the Moore's Quartet singing in churches and at campground meetings
around North and Central Alabama. Her grandfather spoke often of learning the
basics from the school of Sacred Harp.
In 1989 Lynn had her first taste of singing before an audience at her senior
class night. She has been singing ever since. In 1992 she was introduced to the
recording world of country music by a family friend Bobby G. Rice and Gene Kennedy
with Door Knob Records. An experience she truly cherishes. During this time radio
stations reported to cash box Lynn's song had charted starting at 42 and within
a few short weeks climbed to number 18.
The arena of performing was a natural for Lynn, she began singing at churches,
festivals and city events. She has appeared on the Ann Varnum TV Show, several
local radio stations and with Fred Bacher, Son Country 95.5 WTVY, as well as with
Bobby Lynn, II at the CCMA convention in November, 2004. Performances with country
artist such as: Bobby G. Rice, Kathy Mattea, Aaron Tippin, Ronnie McDowell, Charlie
Daniels, Neal McCoy, Gene Watson, Ricky Van Shelton, George, Jones, Ronnie Milsap,
The Florida Boys, Twice Robin and many more....has been an experience she dreamed
of as a child growing up listening to her mother practice with bands she performed
with throughout Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
"God has a way of revealing His will in our lives if we just stop and listen
to His commandments," says Lynn. God has perfect timing for everything. "Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait,
I say, on the Lord!" Psalm 27:14.
Lynn was raised with Christian values to put God first in her life to give Him
all the honor and glory. To obey and be committed to His directions. Lynn is committed
to reach out and touch someone to show God's love through her singing ministry.
With a prayer in her heart that someone will be renewed with the truth of God's
word.
God has blessed Lynn with her husband Stephen of three years, two sons Shawn
and Ben, they are members of Trinity Church, Geneva, Alabama. Lynn is also the
music director at Trinity.
Lynn believes in using every opportunity to meet the needs to serve and witness
to people through her music ministry and her chosen career path of massage therapy.
But, Lynn is very humble to the fact that it is God who has given her all these
gifts.
Christian Country came into Lynn's life not from her own insight or understanding
but from God's plan. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and
make straight and plain your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. To God be all the glory!
